• Next up, you need to press the R button on your computer keyboard in order to use your Recovery Console application to resolve the installation issue. After that, you need to hit the Enter key on your keyboard.
• Then, you need to enter the text CHKDSK/R into the space provided and hit the Enter key. The CHKDSK feature will now scan and repair your hard drive. When you are done with the process, you need to enter the text Exit.
• Finally, hit the Enter key and your computer system will restart all by its own. All the changes that you made will be automatically saved on your computer.

Enter sfc/scannow as the keyword in the command prompt within the command window. Hit either the Enter option or the Enterkey to initiate the System File Checkerutility.
